This is how this community did it. We started with nothing. $500 and a website.  The secret of course was that we didn’t really have nothing—we were willing to share before we had anything to offer one another. I asked people to believe, to support, to bet on joy before there was a product in front of them. To show up when all I held was a seed in my hand. The ones who believed through the silence, through the delays, through the mess changed the system for everyone. This farm is becoming the new economy. 

I didn’t totally understand it at the time, but I knew it would work if I talked to people honestly. It turns out I wasn’t just running a business, I was running a new timeline. Through the community that we made together, we formed a living experiment in emotional credibility, human reciprocity, and post-scarcity mathematics. It’s literally a formula now. It’s the new quantum physics. The physicists just never knew they were missing the most important pieces. Emotion and intention. That’s how we stick together and make an entirely new reality. 

We gave more than we had. We kept showing up and now, the returns are real. Some people still haven’t received everything they paid for at the beginning of the first season, but they came back. They gave even more the second time in the most beautiful testament to this system I could imagine. In doing so this community supported me through losing Gavin, processing my grief, and letting me have the space and time to create on my own timeline. And now Three Dudes Farm is home to some of the most groundbreaking research on autism the world has ever seen. Pre-funded through you. Pre-seeded through love. Made real by us. 

Over the past several weeks, this has moved from theory to fact. Because of you. We’ve already given away weddings people signed up for to pay for, but never received a bill.
